Mae Simmons Park
725 East 19th Street, Lubbock, TX
From I-27, go east on 19th and turn into the dirt road next to the Lonestar Amphitheater. The course lies along the west side of a bend of the Brazos River. There are many very tight tunnel shots, some of which are over or right down usually dry creek beds. Holes #1 and #9 have triple mandos. The course generally flows counterclockwise and every basket has a small red marker that designates the direction to the next tee pad.
The course showcases artwork of locally talented artists. For example, hole #6 throws from the highest elevation to a basket on a life-size sun dial! Each basket has a unique custom number plate.
Mackenzie Park – Mack
4628 Mackenzie Park Road, Lubbock, TX
From I-27 exit 19th Street and head east. Turn left on to Ave A, and then turn back east on Broadway. The park will be on your left hand side (North) at the bottom of the hill, with the entrance directly across the street from the DISConnect Shop. Look for parking lot on right. 1st tee is located near restrooms on hill.
The course is mostly flat with some slight elevation, and lightly wooded. It is one of two courses on site. It plays along and over the Brazos River.
Mackenzie Park – Big Mack
4628 Mackenzie Park Road, Lubbock, TX
Lubbock’s Championship Level Course. Big Mack shares the same parking lot with the other course on site. Hole #1’s tee is located just east of the parking lot next to a bench that was commemorated to the designer of the course, Rob Lee.
It is moderately hilly & wooded. There are several tight tunnel shots, a few elevated baskets, and three holes that play at or near 1000’. Elevation and water come into play on several holes through the 54 acre area.
McCullough Park
3200 88th Dr., Lubbock, TX
From Lubbock: I-27 S to exit 1A. Merge onto TX-289 Loop W and continue for 2.4 miles to the Indiana Ave. exit. Turn left ont Indiana Ave. and continue for 1 mile to a left onto 87th St. Stay on 87th for .2 miles and make a right onto Geneva Dr. / 88th Dr. Parking lot is just ahead on the right.
Hole 1 starts just west of restrooms and parking lot. This is a 9 hole course.
